Jana and me doing our best impressions of Mother Teresa and Albert Sweitzer

Jana administering medicine and juice to the sick boys - mostly malaria.

Two of our boys who went to church with us wanted to pose as missionaries.  Nice ties - mine.

The boys at the farm and JaLayne's kids and neighbors raising money.

The boys crowding around our lab top to see bible videos.

JaLayne and David's kids and a couple of neighbors raised $500.00 for the orphanage, selling candy "door to door".  Later Isaac found a $100.00 bill on the road and declared it God's contribution.

Video of the boys at the farm serenading us.

Everyone's generous contributions have helped enormously with, food, medicine, chairs and tables, curriculum, shoes and clothing, a green house and rabbit hutch.  Thanks so much!

Great Mercy, School and Orphanage; contributions appreciated

Some of the kids helping me load my pickup and haul bricks to the boy's farm for a latrine.
My six "street boys" who are now in school at Great Mercy and help me with all my projects there: Peter, George (our adopted street kid), Martin, Patrick, Dominick and Emmanuel.  Great boys!
We went to leave the main campus and these boys were piled in our truck hoping for a ride, the five miles to "the farm".
Martin, helping me install rain gutter at the farm to collect water for the 1500 liter tank the church gave them.
A couple of my boys packing one of the five bags of food (maze, beans, rice and dried fish) our children donated.

SOME HAVE ASKED HOW THEY MIGHT HELP: If you would like to financially assist our efforts with the School/Orphanage please contact JaLayne Flake Grow at dajagrow@yahoo.com.  Contributions with go toward food, electricity and curriculum.

Great Mercy School and Orphanage, contributions appreciated

With the founder and driving force behind the school, Judith.  She is really a Kenyan version of Mother Teresa.
Some of the 70 boys in a math class at "the farm".

Girls and boys in an English class at the "main campus".
Some of the clothing and supplies donated bu us and our children to the school.
